# Adorable Animals

Adorable Animals is a permanent library of adorable animal pictures, hosted at
https://jasonpaez.com/adorable. Each image is recorded with its original
source, an outbound link back to where it was found, and a license_status
field (default "unknown"). The library grows over time and is not tied to
any single product; several products draw on it for imagery.

The library exposes a small JSON API at /adorable/api/. GET /adorable/api/images
returns a random sample of images (?n=<count up to 100>, optional &product=<id>
for usage tracking, optional &seed=<value> for stable ordering). GET
/adorable/api/daily returns one deterministic image per calendar date
(?date=YYYY-MM-DD, defaults to UTC today), useful for a "today's animal"
feature. GET /adorable/api/stats returns totals by license status and
source. All API responses are JSON with Access-Control-Allow-Origin: *.
